Hello Everyone!
The first post has always made me a little nervous. You see this isn't the first blog I've ever started, but I'm hoping this will be one that I actually stick with. Writing has always been something I've done, though in spurts. I'm hoping that this blog will help me to keep me on track and also the reason that there is no definitive or obvious theme to my posts. This blog is going to be all about me, my different ideas, thoughts, goals, and dreams. I'm going to start off with a small goal: write at least one post a week for the next two months, and then two posts a week after that, and hopefully it'll increase as time passes by.
So a little about myself, you can call me Crys. I am a 28, a writer, and I currently live in the Bay Area. I have written one novel, but I have yet to publish it and I probably never will. Along with this blog, I am also attempting to finish a different novel that I have been working on for about 4 months now, though most of that time was spent in the planning stage. I'm a graduate from San Francisco State University, Class of 2010, and currently work in the security industry (and hopefully working my way into either Investigations or Legal at my day job.)
What I hope to write about/accomplish with this Blog? First, I hope to document my year (or years) with the different places I travel to or exciting adventures I end up on. I also hope to keep myself accountable in writing/editing my novel and then posting it. Most of all, I just want an outlet to write and hopefully acquire some followers who will help me with my worldview on life to grow my niche in this world.
